Sport is much more then just training

Sport is not only about physical performance. It’s a powerful tool for personal growth. Through sport, we learn discipline, resilience, focus, and confidence. The psychology behind training helps us understand how the mind and body work together, shaping not just athletes, but stronger individuals. When we train the mind as much as the body, true performance potential is unlocked.

Sport shapes more than our bodies, it builds our character. Through training and competition, we face challenges, learn from failure, and grow stronger both mentally and emotionally. These qualities extend far beyond the court or gym, they shape who we are in everyday life.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jonathan Larsen. I’m 20 years old and have played badminton at an elite level my entire life. At 19, I reached top 250 in Europe, and for the 2025-2026 season, I have a player contract in the Czech Republic.

 

I’ve been coaching badminton for 7 years, across six clubs, working with players of all ages. What drives me most is helping people improve technically, physically, and mentally – creating structure, balance, and focus in everyday life so they can reach their full potential.

I know how challenging the mental side of sport can be. When I was younger, I often struggled with pressure from coaches, school, and life outside the court – there were moments I considered quitting. That experience shaped my approach today: I dedicate my time to supporting athletes to grow not just in sport, but as people, helping them set priorities, build structure, and strengthen their mindset.

My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment – a community where players support each other, push their limits, and develop both on and off the court.
